School talks on resilience and goal-setting to inspire young riders.
Naomi delivers engaging, age-appropriate school presentations for preschools, primary schools, and secondary students. Sessions can be tailored to small groups or whole-school assemblies, with content adapted to suit different age levels and learning needs.
As both a desert racer and qualified teacher, Naomi brings a unique combination of real-world experience and classroom expertise. Presentations can include an inspiring keynote-style talk, interactive discussions, or hands-on sessions where students can see, touch, and (with assistance) sit on her race bike. For younger students, she can provide a limited number of riding dress-ups to make the experience fun, memorable, and engaging.
For primary-aged students, sessions focus on resilience, goal setting, and believing in yourself. For secondary students, Naomi incorporates deeper conversations around mindset, mental health, overcoming challenges, and taking positive risks. Every session is delivered in a way that is age-appropriate, inclusive, and empowering.
As a female competitor in events such as the Finke Desert Race, Naomi understands how powerful representation can be. Very few young people grow up seeing women race motorcycles, and her visits help broaden perspectives about what is possible. She has a strong desire to give back and create opportunities for other women and girls to access the sport — and to show all students that courage, resilience, and determination matter more than background or gender.
In the past year alone, Naomi has delivered resilience talks to over 1,500 young people across 10 schools in Queensland, South Australia, and the Northern Territory.
